Coach Ham kept his cool after the 73 - 66 win: "Overall I thought our kids played with tremendous effort. We had some guys come off the bench and, freshman especially, they're growing up and giving us good contribution. Ryan had one of his better games. Deividas came off the bench along with Gibson and Jordan and Luke. And even if all of them didn't have great statistics, they were able to give us energy that I thought made a big difference in the game."
Probably because he knows there's a big hill to climb Tuesday night in Durham: "We concern ourselves with the things we can control. How are we gonna prepare tomorrow. And we're going to formulate a game plan that'll allow us to go into Duke and be successful. If we start thinking about what we have not done in the past, and what we can't do in the future, we're not going to do much about the present. Right now that's all we're concerned with. We want to enjoy this victory for a few hours. Give the kids a long curfew tonight, which they're very happy with."
