Chuck Oliver, aka "The King of College Football," didn't wait for spring practice or even national signing day to issue his 2011 prediction for FSU. The guy knows his stuff, but he's more pessimistic than expected about a team coming off a ten win season with a boatload of promise for the future. Read it and judge for yourself.
If you'd like to give Oliver some grief about his prediction, call him during his show, "Chuck & Chernoff," Noon to 3pm weekdays on 680 the Fan in Atlanta (listen on-line here). Oliver is also a TV color analyst on college games during the season.

I don't have a problem with his prediction. Depth concerns on the DL and OL justify putting the lid on the wild expectations voiced by many Seminole fans. I am anticipating a loss aat Boston College in 2011. There will be a couple of other close games in the ACC too. I think "dogfight" is a rather appropriate label.

Boy, I love time-stamps on e-mails and such. First, I included the ultimate disclaimer that this is January and it's a way early look ahead.
And for anyone who cares, send me your e-mail address and I'll have my web guy forward you the bowl picks that we sold on my site.
I not only picked FSU plus the points, but on my show said to get them on the money line. The previous post is from someone who lies. My real name is Chuck Oliver and I stand behind whatever I say. Your real name is? You'll own up to how much of what you say? Liar, and a pretty bad one, at that.

CO is a huge SEC homer. A strong FSU = bad for SEC. His bowl pick for FSU/SC was a great piece of thoughtful insight and careful homework. It was literally this long - uh, SEC vs. ACC, I'll take SEC. End of story - pitiful and dead wrong!!!
