It wasn't the usual shocking expose of two parties caught in a hotel room. It was Notre Dame and the ACC schmoozing on what apparently was their first date. The Chicago Tribune confirms it here, though the two possible suitors say they were only discussing future dates in the Orange Bowl. But since the meetings weren't open to the media, it's possible the Irish and John Swofford were doing more than just holding hands.
